Futsal fever hits Irishtown Stadium

 

FUTSAL FEVER HITS IRISHTOWN STADIUM AS IT PLAYS HOST TO DUBLIN PRIMARY SCHOOLS EVENT

BOYS

IRISHTOWN STADIUM played host to the Primary Schools Futsal programme on Thursday last, October 27 with 12 schools, 23 teams and over 200 boys participating.

The programme is a participation initiative run to local level. The event caters for boys in third and fourth class in a one day fun filled blitz format.

Thanks to the FAI Irishtown students, Michael Moore, Marc Kenny, Paul Whelan, Tommy Carberry, Ian Hill and Jonathan Tormey for co-ordinating the event

Ringsend BNS: 3 teams
City Quay NS: 1 team
Scoil Treasa NS: 2 teams
Holy Child NS, Larkhill: 1 team
St. Audeon’s NS: 2 teams
Holy child Mourne Road: 2 teams
Scoil Iosgain: 2 teams
St Ultan’s NS: 2 teams
St. Michael’s NS: 2 teams
Mary Queen of Angels, Ballyfermot: 3 teams
De La Salle, Ballyfermot: 1 team
Scoil Catriona, Baggot Street: 2 teams
 

GIRLS

6 schools amounting to 14 girls teams participated in the Primary Schools Dublin Futsal regional event on Friday last, October 28.

The programme is a participation initiative run to local level. The event caters for girls in third and fourth class in a one day fun filled blitz format.

Thanks to the FAS students, Michael Moore and Jonathan Tormey for co-ordinating the event which saw approx. 140 girls participating
