A four goal salvo from Ireland Under 17 international Gemma McGuinness helped Moville Community College to a 5/1 win over Loreto of Letterkenny in the Umbro FAI Schools Senior Girls Ulster Final at Burnfoot this morning:

Margaret Mulhall's side proved too strong for the reigning champions as they produced an attacking performance high on fluent passing despite the wet and windy conditions:

McGuinness got the Foyleside College off to a dream start with the opening goal on 2 minutes following good work by sisters Shannon and Sarah Jane McDonald:

Sarah Jane got her own name on the score sheet to double her side's advantage on 16 minutes when she used her pace to get in behind the Loreto defence before tucking the ball underneath the advancing Mary B O'Donnell in the Loreto goal:

McGuinness gave her side a 3/0 halftime lead before a further brace from the in/form striker ended the game as a contest in the second half:

Loreto netted a consolation goal late on when Kaneshia McKinney controlled a Crawford corner before sending a looping shot into the top left corner from 14 yards:

Many of the Moville panel will be back in action at the same venue this Monday when they play Inishowen neighbours Crana College in the Junior Final:

While the Senior girls now advance to an All Ireland semi final showdown on March 6 they will have to await the outcome of the Leinster decider: The inspiring Eureka Secondary School, Kells who were runners up last year to Loreto, Letterkenny will compete against the successful Alexandra College, Milltown for their respective provincial honours:

Both sides will be notably opponents as Mulhall will testify: The Moville mentor outsmarted Dave Collins’ Alexandra College in the Junior Final last season 4/2 to lift the All Ireland Junior title while Eureka will be looking for a second bite of the cherry in 2012:
