Dolphin’s Barn plays host to Primary School Competition

5 a Side Primary Competition

The third annual Dublin 8 Primary School blitz was held in Dolphin’s Barn at the end of February: This competition ran in conjunction with the FAI, Dublin City Council and An Garda Siochain:

All schools in the Dublin 8 area are invited to take part in this 5^th and 6^th class 5 a side blitz competition, catering for boys and girls: 9 schools participated in both the girls and boys competitions totaling a massive 230 participants:

Winners:

Boys 5^th Class: St: Francis School

Girls 5^th Class: Inchicore

Boys 6^th Class: Synge Street

Girls 6^th Class: St: Audeon’s

Thanks must go to the event organizer, Jonathan Tormey for all his hard work in putting together the competition: The 2 day event was a tremendous success and all credit has to go to the participating schools that showed great sportsmanship and enjoyment no matter what the result was:
