Drinan started his playing career with Carrigaline United AFC and then signed for Cobh Ramblers in January 2015. He has subsequently moved to the Cork City U19s setup this season. Soccer is quite successful in Carrigaline CS where they are competing in the Munster Cup and League this season. The Junior team recently lost out to Calasanctius College, Oranmore in the All Ireland Cup semi-final. Aaron’s ambition is to go full time with Cork City first team competing in the Premier tier of Irish football
