Local lad, Liam played with his beloved Arklow Town FC for 10 years before making the big move to UCD 19s last season. He will relish being back to his childhood club for their opening game of the series. His School were runners up in the prestigious John Murphy National Cup final last month which saw him play a pivotal role. The youngster has represented the Leinster Youths in Hessen, Germany recently. Scales plans to attend UCD following his Leaving Cert. The ambition is to play in the League and continue to represent Ireland at other levels.
